In 2008, Titleist broke their own mold a bit aided by the release of this AP1 together with AP2 irons. In no way prior to had the (in Alan's words) "traditionally traditional" Titleist released irons which different from the callaway irons with even more noticeable creating and with which they stirred quite a buzz. Quick forward to August of 2009 where we learned that Titleist had done some fine-tuning along with enhancement to both the AP1 and AP2 irons that different from the taylormade golf clubs.
